Fallen Next Media staff Brian Ainebyoona to be laid to rest on Monday in Kabale
Next Media Services is mourning the death of its staff member, Brian Ainebyoona, whose burial is scheduled for Monday, 22nd December, in Kirigime, Kabale Municipality.
According to the official funeral program, a requiem Mass and funeral service will be held today, Saturday 20th December, at 2:00pm at Omuka Restaurant in Naguru, Kampala. The Mass will be followed by a vigil at the same venue, where family, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers will gather to pay their last respects.
On Sunday, 21st December, the body will be transported from Kampala to Kabale, ahead of the burial ceremony.
The burial will take place on Monday, 22nd December, in Kirigime, Kabale Municipality, with the exact time to be communicated by the family in due course.
Brian Ainebyoona’s passing has deeply affected colleagues at Next Media and the wider media fraternity, who remember him for his dedication, professionalism, and warm personality.
Colleagues at the Naguru based media house including CEO Kin Karisa, Douglas Lwanga, Ben Mwine, Bulasio Mukasa among others took to X (formally Tweeter) to extend their condolences. Brian will be fondly remembered as a jolly hardworking person who always went beyond to deliver results.
Brian Ainebyoona who previously worked with NTV died yesterday after he was admitted in a Kampala medical facility with complications in his stomach.
